Rooted & Regulated

Healing begins with remembering who you are

Farm-based occupational therapy for young adults and adults, specializing in mental health, nervous system regulation, and meaningful living.

You don't have to live in survival mode.

Whether you're navigating chronic tension, pelvic floor dysfunction, stress-related symptoms, or feeling disconnected from your body, this work is about coming back into regulation, strength, and trust in your system.

Rooted & Regulated offers occupational therapy services grounded in real-life function, blending clinical expertise with whole-body awareness—so you can move, live, and feel better in your everyday life.

Our Philosophy

Rooted in purpose, growing toward wellness

Farm-based occupational therapy is more than a modality — it's a philosophy that honors the deep connection between our nervous systems, the natural world, and our capacity to live meaningful lives.

The Vision

Why the farm?

Traditional clinical settings, while valuable, can inadvertently trigger the very stress responses we're trying to address. The farm offers something different — an environment that naturally invites the nervous system to settle.

Open skies, gentle animals, the rhythm of nature — these aren't just pleasant additions to therapy. They are powerful, evidence-based elements that support sensory processing, co-regulation, and emotional well-being.

For young adults and adults navigating mental health challenges, anxiety, burnout, trauma, or life transitions, the farm provides both the safety and the stimulation needed for real, lasting change.

Our Values

What guides our practice

Grounded in Nature

The farm is not a backdrop — it is a co-therapist. Every element of the natural environment is woven into your therapeutic experience with intentionality.

Whole-Person Perspective

We see you as a complete person, not a diagnosis. Our approach honors the complexity of your nervous system, your life story, and your goals.

Safety & Regulation

Nervous system regulation is foundational to everything we do. We create the conditions where your body can shift from survival to engagement.

Evidence-Based Practice

Every intervention is grounded in occupational science, neuroscience, and trauma-informed care — never guesswork.

Meaningful Occupation

We believe in the healing power of doing — engaging in purposeful, real-world activities that build confidence, skill, and connection.

Compassionate Partnership

Your therapeutic journey is collaborative. We walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to your well-being.

Payment & Insurance

Investment in your care

Private Pay

We are a private pay practice, which means payment is collected at the time of service. This allows us to provide you with undivided attention and the highest quality of individualized care without the constraints of insurance-driven treatment limitations.

Insurance Reimbursement

Our services may be reimbursable through your individual insurance plan. While we do not bill insurance directly, we will provide you with all the necessary documentation — including superbills and procedure codes — for you to submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We will provide a superbill and guidance for requesting direct reimbursement for your sessions.

Tip: We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first visit to verify your out-of-network occupational therapy benefits.
